Parents
I GET IT!

I am the Mom of a tween and a teen. I’ve experienced so much of what you’re going through right now. Our parenting journeys are all different of course, but I can relate to the frustration, the guilt, the hair-pulling moments when it seems too much and you long for the days when your biggest worry was if you should wake them from their nap so they’ll go to sleep at a decent time tonight! While I respect your unique situation, please know that I have walked and continue to walk that incredibly rewarding yet scary and challenging path toward growing a human into full independence. I can relate. And I can help.
WHERE’S THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL?
There is no rule book on how to raise a family. As the saying goes, if only kids came with an instruction manual, this would be so much easier! Just because we have kids doesn’t mean we automatically know what to do with them, especially when things don’t go as expected, when your kids don’t act the way your friends’ kids do, when all the “back in my day” strategies don’t work, when the child rearing books don’t seem to apply to your situation, and when you’re just plain old tired of spinning your wheels and it’s gotten too hard.

ALLOW ME TO COACH YOU THROUGH THE TOUGHEST JOB ON EARTH

In all these situations, your child is suffering, you’re suffering, the whole family is affected, everyone seems miserable at times and you feel stuck. Whether you need help in conjunction with your child’s personal or family therapy, or whether you want to proactively address struggles at home and need someone to guide you through the hardest job in the world, I am here to coach you through it. The goal of parent coaching is to help parents understand the nature of the challenges their family is experiencing, develop tools to make everyday life more manageable, avoid power struggles, improve communication and connection, and set healthy, appropriate boundaries. Parent coaching sets the foundation for long-term positive change.
